Hi there! My names Laurel, I have always loved working with children. Over the years I have developed a lot of experience with kids, I currently work as a 18 month - 2 year old preschool teacher. at 12 years old. I volunteered at my church's Sunday school, eventually being promoted to the Sunday school director in 2018 - which is a paid position. I worked with kids 0-13 years old, and was occasionally alone (teaching and taking care of 10 kids of all different ages). I've also volunteered with the Brevard Rescue Mission kids club (as well as babysitting when I was able). Working with children is something I've always loved - even as a child. I love babysitting because as a child I remember what an impact my babysitters and older siblings had on me, and the great memories I created with them (and I've always wanted to Read more help create good childhood memories for other children). Not everything can be fun and games, so I like to build relationships with children built off of mutual respect (and be able to help keep rules and guidelines in order - making good memories while also burning some energy). I have a passion for helping the youth in my community - and I feel like I have a unique skillset and understanding of children to offer services to both children and parents.
