I currently work as a nanny and ASL tutor and I love my jobs! Before I was a nanny I was a Customer Service Lead at Block Advisor. I enjoyed the training aspect and customer side of that job but I enjoy being a nanny and a tutor much better! I am also in college right now working on a degree in ASL Interpreting, taking online classes geared towards interpreting. I’m passionate about that choice as I am being a nanny. I have worked as ASL and RSL interpreter for my deaf parents since I was a child. I have built people skills and am typically the person who my family calls when they need me as an Interpreter. I think I like problem solving, which is why I enjoyed the training and customer service part of my job as a customer service lead. I could help people overcome problems. Read more This is probably why I love nannying so much. It is a way I can truly make a huge impact on someone and help solve problems. During my tenure of 2 years at my church Cornerstone Fellowship Bible Church, I served as a Children’s Ministry Aide. My responsibilities included planning weekly crafts, structured lessons, and elective coursework. I provided a supportive environment for parents and families through effective communication and promoted independent learning. I excelled in collaborative partnerships, both in remote and in-person capacities. I have two years of experience working at a daycare and have also served as a paid babysitter for multiple families at church. Additionally, I regularly work in the nursery room on Sundays during Sunday services. I am dedicated to collaborating with parents to prioritize the well-being and happiness of their children 🫶🏻 I also find joy in activities that allow me to express my creativity and nurture my imagination, such as reading, crocheting, crafting, painting, and more.
