What I enjoy most about working with children is having the opportunity to teach and contribute to their growth. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, and it is very rewarding to see a child learn something new and know that it can positively impact their future. I also love their imagination and curiosity, and how they can turn the smallest things into something special. I believe we learn just as much from children as they learn from us. My experience with children began in Colombia, where I worked as a teaching assistant in a preschool. In that role, I taught English to a group of 15 children and gained valuable experience creating engaging activities, supporting their learning, and caring for their individual needs. I also have more than two years of experience as an Au Pair, where I was responsible for caring for two children. This experience helped Read more me develop strong childcare, communication, and organizational skills while becoming part of a family and supporting the children in their daily routines. Currently, I also work caring for two children, which has continued to strengthen my experience and confidence in providing safe, loving, and engaging childcare. I am a very responsible, patient, energetic, and caring person. I truly enjoy spending time with children, playing outdoors, and creating fun activities that encourage them to learn and explore. My passion is teaching, and I love helping children develop new skills while making sure they feel safe, supported, and happy. I am also bilingual in English and Spanish. I would be happy to speak Spanish with children if a family is interested in introducing or maintaining Spanish in their children's daily lives. I believe being bilingual can be a wonderful opportunity for children to learn and connect with another language and culture.
