Hello! I'm Jazmyne! I'm considerate, warmhearted, hardworking, and determined. I pride myself on my abilities to demonstrate respect for a family’s parenting styles, diversity and personal values, by working in partnership with the parents to address the needs of their children. I believe in creating a positive & nurturing environment that emphasizes fun, excitement and laughter while maintaining a focus on safety, consistency, structure, and routines. I feel a big part of my job is to encourage and lift up the children in my care by supporting a sense of belonging, connectedness, self awareness, and self esteem while promoting foundational character skills such as integrity, kindness, honesty, caring, respect, and responsibility. And when it comes to engaging kids with activities, play, stories, games, etc...I'm your girl! Before moving to LA, I was working in Paris, as an Au-pair in for a family of 5 with 3 boys (8, 5, & a newborn). I've been babysitting since I was 15, tutoring since I was 17. I've worked as an Au Pair/Nanny in the US, Italy, France, and Spain. I'm CPR/First Aid certified, licensed, and have a car. My ideal role is where my experience, approach, and abilities align cohesively with the family’s allowing the children to grow successfully in a positive environment. I flourish in positions with families that are able to foster a healthy and positive employment relationship based on respect, trust, and open communication that allows me in my role as a nanny, the autonomy to navigate my responsibilities, provide positive discipline and guidance, and plan appropriate activities with respect to pre-scheduled activities.
