Hi, I’m Katie! Thank you for considering my services! I live in the North Georgia area, and currently completing my bachelor’s degree in psychology at Chattahoochee College and plan to continue into a counseling program. Working with kids has always felt like a natural fit for me. I am passionate about supporting children as they grow both academically and emotionally in their formative years. My experience includes: - Tutoring children ages 10–17 and helping them build confidence in their studies - Volunteering in children’s programs where I create safe, fun, and inclusive spaces through play and creative activities - Working in daycare settings with kids of all ages, including those with special needs - Growing up in a family of nine, so I’m very comfortable with busy, energetic households I also have experience outside of childcare that has shaped who I am as a caregiver. My background also includes seven years as a server, two years as a chiropractic assistant and receptionist, and a year as a resort front desk receptionist. I stepped away from my last role to care for my father before he moved into assisted living, and now I’m excited to return to helping families. A bit more about me: - Completed an Introduction to Childcare course at Chattahoochee College - Currently pursuing CPR/First Aid certification - Great at cooking healthy meals, keeping things clean and organized, and helping with homework or light housekeeping - Comfortable with pets - Have reliable transportation I work hard, truly care about what I do, and always bring a positive, calm, and supportive energy.
