Hi, I'm Cat! With over six years of nanny experience in Chicago, I'm eager to find my next family to support. I'd like to support a family for the summer or in a more full-time capacity - targeting 25-45 hours/week. I can guarantee one year and am open to extending my time with the family if we find it's a good fit. I've supported families as a full-time, part-time, or on-call nanny and have built lasting relationships with each. The bulk of my experience is in caring for children ages 18 months to 14 years and I've cared for 2-3 siblings at a time. If they want to sit and play with the grass without talking, I'll follow. If they want to play a complex game of pretend with multiple moving pieces, I'll play whatever role necessary. If they're ready to start a game of soccer, I'll jump in. I value following their interests or needs for that day and am happy to design activities based on their curiosities. I'm nurturing and calm and aim to create environments that foster children's growth. I'm not there to babysit, but to listen to them, care for them, and help them learn.
