Hello and Welcome! Lovely to introduce myself, I prefer to be called Shawnnie I am 24 yrs old with a radiant and bubbly personality. I myself love being a part of nurturing a child’s growth and development and I currently hold 5 years of experience. My experience includes a family of 3. (4 if you count the little pup they had!) I started off as their sitter occasionally but worked my way to becoming their nanny for 3 years before they moved to South Korea. They've told me many times I'd been a wonderful nanny and even invited me to move overseas with them which I'm very proud of. Next, I have a family that consisted of a grandmother and her granddaughter. I watched her on occasion and was became their on-call nanny until filling in as their lead nanny. I also lived in the Bahamas, Nassau for a few Read more years and made it my part-time job babysitting for some of the parents in the community! I also was a volunteer for 3 years over at Jewett school of the arts and before moving out of state was offered a teaching assistant position. I love games and discovering new ways for children to express themselves while learning. I just picked up German so a little learner would be great, especially for when I tackle Japanese. I adore sing-along's which is wonderful if you have a child who loves Disney as I do! I have my CPR card as well as my paraprofessional license. My boys absolutely loved spending time with Shawnnie while we went out. She handled all 3 energetic boys with ease and kept them busy and happy. She even managed to get them all into bed and asleep, which is no easy task. Communication was great and we look forward to using her as our date night sitter in the future.
