Hello! I currently work as a Paraeducator for the school district, collaborating with SPED teachers and supporting students’ individual academic and behavioral needs. At the same time, I have been an after-school nanny for 2 families over the past couple school years and a summer nanny for two full summers. While I typically care for two children, I am comfortable caring for 3, as I have done this past Summer. I graduated in 2023 with a BA in Psychology and began my career as a Behavior Technician, supporting children ages 3–7 in a clinical setting before continuing onto experience providing academic and behavioral support in K–8 schools. My experience has taught me to balance consistency with flexibility, follow individualized routines and protocols, and communicate clearly with parents/school staff. I’m an eager learner and understand the importance of learning each child’s needs and what works best for them. Outside of work, Read more I enjoy exploring the area, going on walks, visiting parks, coffee shops, lakes, and local shops, and spending time with friends. I also have experience in pet sitting, so I’m very comfortable with dogs and cats and am happy to help with pet care when needed. On rainy days, I enjoy puzzles, painting, and other hands-on activities. I’m especially interested in finding a family that enjoys getting out, exploring, and doing hands-on activities together, with little emphasis on using screens as a way to stay entertained.
