Hello! My name is Jamie. I am a full-time college student at the University of Texas at Austin. I am an Education major (Youth and Community Studies). I hope to be certified to teach English in Texas for 7-12th graders. I have one year of work experience with early childhood education. I have worked at a daycare with Pre-K students. I now work at a private preschool in southwest Austin and love working with young kids. I am passionate about fostering learning through both a structured and non-structured environment. I would love to foster a close relationship with a child or children and have a positive impact on their development. Further, I want to learn from them in the same way that they would learn from me.
