interviewed Pamela for a position with my family and initially had a very positive impression. Her reference was glowing, and on paper she seemed like an excellent candidate. However, the process ended up being quite difficult. I invested a significant amount of time coordinating calls, setting up payroll arrangements, and waiting over a week to connect with her reference due to scheduling issues. She also spoke directly with my child as part of the process. After indicating she was happy to accept the role, she changed her mind about two weeks later. By that point, I had stopped interviewing other candidates and was left without childcare. While she may be a strong candidate in other situations, my experience was that communication around her decision-making was unclear, and the process ultimately cost me a great deal of time. Unfortunately, this was a negative experience for my family, and I would have appreciated more transparent communication earlier in the process.
Pamela M.'s reply
Hi Jiohanna, While I believe this is a great position, I'm unable to agree to the nanny share that you proposed. I am currently looking to be a live-in nanny for one singular family for the foreseeable future. My deepest apologies for any inconvenience and I wish you well in your search for care of your beautiful child.

Very rude
Pamela M.'s reply
Hi Christine, I understand your frustration. Unfortunately, I am uninterested in signing with an agency at this time because I prefer a more personal experience with my potential employers. I wish you and your company the best of luck and I appreciate you considering me.
