Hi! My name is Jessie, and I have a genuine passion for working with children. I worked at the YMCA Day Camp for two years, where I gained experience supervising, engaging, and caring for children of different ages in a fun and safe environment. I grew up as the oldest of eight siblings, so caring for children has always been a natural part of my life. Through both my family and work experience, I’ve learned the importance of patience, responsibility, and creating a positive, nurturing environment. I also have experience working with children with special needs. I have a brother with cerebral palsy and another with autism, and I volunteered in my high school’s multi-disability classroom through a service-learning program. These experiences have helped me develop compassion, adaptability, and an understanding that every child has unique needs and strengths. I’m currently working on renewing my CPR and First Aid certifications. My goal is to provide dependable, attentive, and loving care while giving parents peace of mind that their children are in good hands.
