I am a mother of 4 kids who are mostly grown, my youngest is 14, the rest are out of school. I have worked with children since I was a teenager in church and babysitting. I worked in the public school system for 9 years, working with children from ages 5-17. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and political science. I always thought I would go to law school, but I loved working with children and knew that was my true calling. My favorite is to work with toddlers, but I enjoy babies and children of all ages. I am trained in sign language and have had first aid and CPR training; I just do not have a current certification.
