Hello, I'm Malika! I am a licensed therapist who has extensive experience working in the childcare field. My experience ranges from local babysitting jobs throughout high school and college, to working as an aupair in Sydney, Australia, being a full-time nanny in NYC during graduate school, and recently working as a full-time assistant toddler teacher at a local daycare. I've always enjoyed working with children and watching them learn, grow, and experience the world around them. I believe children can teach us so much about the importance of being in the present moment, getting creative, and having fun. It's rewarding to watch them pick up on new language skills and grow in their confidence through play. Some of my favorite activities to do with children is to engage in imaginative play, reading, coloring (I love seeing what images they come up with!) and being outside in nature.
