Hello there! My name is Tyler, and I am excited to serve you and your family! I am a senior year at University of South Florida studying Health Sciences. I have experience working with children in multiple areas. For the past year and a half I've had the honor to support a family with their little boy from 4 months to almost 2 yrs old. I've used my swim instructor background to teach water safety and the foundation of learning to swim with confidence. We also learned over 30 sign language signs together to support his active participation in communication as well as introduced familiarity toward Spanish conversation. In collaboration with their family, I was able to provide a consistency in values and expectations throughout every stage to best support the family they wanted to build. Before nannying for this family, I was a lifeguard for 3 years, where I Read more also taught swim lessons to children ages newborn to 15+ years old. I have practice enforcing discipline in a respectful way and keeping children engaged while learning. Additionally, I have babysat for families with kids between infant and 10 years old. I love being outside with children and encouraging their curiosities. I love providing a safe space for children to explore and test their curiosities without intrusive inturuptions. Getting active and playful is also so much fun because I find this is when those big belly laughs come out! About me personally, my biggest dream is to build a large and lively family with my fiancé someday with our parents there to enjoy. I want to support my community as a lactation consultant, and I dream of working with my local church at the time to donate my services to those who could not afford it otherwise. I love reading, swimming, furry friends, practicing my Spanish, spending time with loved ones, and being in nature. Throughout all of this, I am continuously deepening my faith in God and surrendering my life to His will.
