Ever since I was a young girl, I found myself drawn to helping children. Fortunately, that has not changed! I have a BA in Psychology and have intentions of getting a Master's degree in education. I currently volunteer with local children's theater as a director and supports as needed and am a Big Sister for Big Brothers, Big Sisters. Additionally, I work full time as a Prevention Specialist for Crawford County Drug & Alcohol educating youth and community alike about how substances affect a person. Previously, in college and before, I primarily gained my income through childcare/babysitting. I used my skills and knowledge of child development to keep the kids I was watching entertained through play and imagination. I also have experience working with people who have been diagnosed with things like ASD and Down Syndrome.
