Hi! I am a 31 year old Special Education Teaching Assistant. If you need an occasional, evening, and/or weekend sitter, I’m your gal! I have been working with kids in various ways since I was 13. I assistant coached PeeWee cheerleading for 2 years and head coached for 2 years. I have been babysitting children of various ages since 13 as well. I was an assistant teacher at a local daycare/learning center for 3 years, where I worked in all rooms from Infants to School aged (ages 6 weeks to 12 years); before joining my home school district as a paraprofessional. As a paraprofessional, I worked with elementary aged (Kindergarten through 2nd grade) children in both a general education setting as well as special education. I recently have begun a new position with my district as an Elementary Special Education Teaching Assistant. I have my associates degree and am in Read more my undergraduate program majoring in Special Education, with the end goal of a career as an Elementary Special Education Teacher.
