Hi Families, My name is Emily , and I’m so excited to connect with you! I’m 24 years old and currently living in Newburgh, NY. I’m pursuing my Master’s in Social Work and for the past several years I’ve been working for the state, caring for individuals with disabilities since 2019 and have worked with both children and adults. Alongside that, I’ve been babysitting for a wonderful family with three amazing girls (ages 6, 4, and 2) for about a year and a half, twice a week. Sadly, they’ll be relocating down south at the end of November/early December, so I’m now looking to take on new families as I transition into babysitting full time while continuing my studies. My starting availability would be Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Starting in December, I’ll be available Monday through Friday during the day. I’ve always loved working with children! Also, during my undergraduate program, I completed an internship in a school setting, working hands-on with kids of various ages. I’m fingerprinted through NYS, and a trained in first aid mandated reporter. I have my own car and a valid driver’s license, so I’m happy to help with pickups and drop-offs for school or activities. I love cooking, crafting, traveling, spending time outdoors, working out, and I’m a total animal lover!
