Hello! I am Indie, 27, from IN. I love the outdoors and educating youth on the importance of LNT, and why our trails and parks are for everyone to enjoy. I’ve been a professional care giver for 5+ years now. I love reading, hiking, art, and music! I have experience working with children in schools (ages 3-17) from my three years working in a paid position at a non-profit (ProAct Indy). As a site leader at ProAct I facilitated meaningful conversations, games, and activities with students to educate them on the importance of community outreach and service. We gave back in our service projects - painting murals, beautifying gardens, building ramps, cleaning up parks/streets, volunteering at animal shelters, and the differences are noticed within our schools. Being a sitter/nanny is an important role, and there is so much to give in that position. Kids are tough, but so much fun if you’re willing to engage in imaginative games/activities with them. One thing that sets me apart is that I thru-hiked the entire Appalachian Trail last year - GA to ME.
