Hello! My name is Maddie Bindon and I am a rising senior at Penn State University studying kinesiology. I love being a sitter because working with children is truly one of my greatest joys. Their creativity, curiosity, and energy make every day unique and rewarding. I enjoy creating fun, safe, and engaging environments where kids feel heard, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. Whether it’s helping with homework, playing games, or simply being a positive role model, I take pride in making a positive impact in a child’s life. I’ve worked with children in many different roles over the years. I’ve been a summer babysitter, a camp counselor, and eventually an assistant camp director, which gave me hands-on experience managing groups of kids while ensuring their safety and fun. I’ve also tutored children and coached youth sports, so I’m confident working with various ages and personalities—from toddlers to teens. My experience has helped me develop strong skills in behavior management, activity planning, tutoring, and creating routines that keep kids both entertained and on track.
