I have always loved working with kids. I was a camp counselor and summer arts and crafts director for 3 years. During this job, I was CPR and First Aid trained. This training included: administering Epi-pens; administering the Heimlich Maneuver on adults, children, and babies; and how to identify outdoor toxins such as poison ivy, poison oak, and other typical allergens in nature. I also was a volunteer with Big Brothers and Big Sisters for 3 years. I met weekly with a girl (from age 7-10) to help with homework, create weekly activities, and help build her confidence. Additionally, I was a lifeguard at the Sesame Place water park. Here, I was also certified and trained in CPR and First Aid. I find joy and fulfillment in helping to enrich the lives and build the confidence of children. I love to help create an encouraging, safe, and engaging space for Read more children to play, ask for help, and learn. I have my own car and a flexible schedule. I am open to housework, running errands, and preparing meals. I am a graduate from Carnegie Mellon University looking to pivot into a career in education and social work.
