Hi! My name is Kiyana Abston, and I’m a former U.S. Air Force Airman with over five years of experience working with children. I started my childcare journey at Primrose Schools, where I worked with infants through 5-year-olds, helping care for them, teaching foundational skills, and preparing meals when needed. Soon after I moved to Alaska, there I worked for a school district with students from kindergarten through high school. I planned activities, taught K–5 art as a temporary teacher, and later became a special education aide, supporting students with behavioral, health, and special needs. Working with kids is something I truly enjoy. I’m creative, patient, and love building positive relationships with children while helping them learn, grow, and feel confident. I enjoy creating a fun, safe environment where every child feels supported and encouraged to be their best.
