I am a career nanny, having over 20 years experience. I have cared for children of every age range. I have 6 units of early childhood education. I majored in psychology at California Lutheran, completing 3 years. Besides extensive real life experience, I believe the most two most impacting qualities I bring to each position are a heart investment and love. I was raised having a lot of babysitters. The ones who made a lasting impression on me were the ones who truly cared about me. (There were not a lot of those.) I will truly care about your child, because I truly love children. A nanny position is not just a job or a career, but an opportunity to love a family. It seems simple, but it is powerful. Singing is one of my passions, which I do often. :) I love reading! I value communication, relationships, order, a simple lifestyle, creativity, schedules with availability to be flexible. I adapt very easily to new work environments. I am firm, but full of mercy. I am always looking for the teachable moments. I am patient with a child's learning process, so repeating myself while at times can be tedious, does not overwhelm me. I love to laugh and to see others laugh. If I have a task to complete, and there is a relational moment that presents itself, I will choose the relational moment every time. Of course, then I scramble to get the task completed. ;) Priorities! I hope that gives you a small taste of who I am as a nanny. By the way, my worst quality is filling out something like this. :)
