Hi! My name is Ashley and I’ve always had a passion for working with children. I currently work full-time at a daycare where I care for children ranging in age from 6 weeks to 5 years old, Monday through Friday. Through this experience, I’ve gained strong skills in creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for little ones from bottlefeeding and diaper changes to planning engaging crafts, sensory play, and early learning activities. In addition to my daycare experience, I’ve also spent time babysitting and working with older children, ages 5 and up. I enjoy helping with homework, organizing creative games, and encouraging independence and confidence as kids grow. I’m patient, responsible, and love keeping kids active and entertained in positive ways. I’m currently a sophomore at Rhode Island College majoring in Early Childhood Education, and my dream is to one day open my own daycare center. In my free time, I enjoy arts and crafts, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.
