Hello. I am the mother of a 20 year old daughter, whom is now involved with her college career, and that leaves me with some free time that I would love to be able to share with another child. I have been a stay-at-home mom for her entire life, and feel that I have the skills, time, and compassion to devote to a child, and not only fulfill my love of children, but hopefully to benefit this child in a mutual return. I believe that the children are our future and that during their formidable years, it is the time to encourage exploration and growth, inquisitive experimentation and insightfulness, open mindedness and tolerance, and determination and dedication, to provide them with the skill set needed to be an asset to this world and to help them know not only how to fully utilize their strengths, but also how to improve Read more their weaknesses. I am looking for part-time hours for now but am open to a full-time possibility. I have reliable transportation and clean driving records. I will obtain any clearances that are necessary. I am an extreme animal lover and am comfortable with any and all pets. I am quite comfortable assisting with any homework and hold a child’s schooling career in the highest regard. I, myself, come from a household with both of my parents being college professors and fully understand the emphasis that should be placed on education.
