Hello! My name is Mariana. I have 3 years of experience. I have babysat for relatives and neighbors (ages newborn to 9 yrs) for the past 4 years. I have a baby cousin who just turned one and have been taking care of him since he was born when my aunt was at work. I've been doing my work-study at a daycare for the past year in Roxbury where I've mainly cared with kiddos from 2 yrs to 4 yrs. This summer, I worked as a camp counselor at Trinity Episcopal School in Austin where I worked with kiddos from 3 yrs to 5 yrs. At both the daycare and camp, I help teach and focus on the kids' development. I also babysat a 6 month old and his sister (2 y/o) for the month of August which was the best. I have 3 younger siblings (6 yr boy, 14 Read more yr girl, and 17 yr girl) which gives me a knowledge on how small kids and young teenagers think and react. I live in Back Bay, really close to Prudential Center. I am in my sophomore year at Northeastern University where I am double majoring in Criminal Justice and Psychology. I am Adult, Child and Infant, Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid Certified. I am bilingual (Spanish) and great at teaching (my favorite subject is math!). I am great at organizing and keeping things tidy. I would be perfectly fine doing light chores, loads of kids' laundry, folding and putting it away. As of now, I am free after 5:30pm Mon-Fri and I’m free all day on weekends. Super excited to hear from you!
