Hi there! My name is Mariana :) I’m a rising college senior at Northeastern University, double majoring in Criminal Justice and Psychology with minors in Law & Public Policy and Health Psychology. I’m currently back home in Austin about to start working at a law firm for an internship until the end of the year, and I’d love to help out with babysitting while I’m here! I’ve been babysitting for 6+ years now and have experience with kids ranging from newborns to 9 years old. I’ve cared for relatives, neighbors, and families in both Austin and Boston. I’ve been especially close to my toddler cousin (now 3 years old), whom I’ve helped care for since birth. Over the past three years, I’ve worked at a daycare in Boston through my school’s work-study program, primarily supporting kids ages 2 to 4. I’ve also worked as a summer camp counselor at Trinity Read more Episcopal School, where I had the joy of working with preschoolers (ages 3–5). In both roles, I focused on supporting early development and engaging kids in fun, educational play. In the past two summers, I’ve babysat for infants and toddlers—including a 6-month-old and his 2-year-old sister, and later a 5-month-old baby girl and her 4-year-old sister. During this past year, I’ve babysat for three different families in Boston and absolutely loved building those connections. I’m CPR/AED and First Aid certified (Adult, Child & Infant, Pediatric) and fluent (native) in Spanish. I’m very tidy and happy to help with light housework, laundry, and keeping things organized. I love to teach through play, and I bring lots of energy, patience, and care to everything I do. I also have three younger siblings (ages 8, 16, and 19), so I’m very familiar with the stages from childhood through adolescence! I look forward to hearing from you!
