Hi there! My name is Amaya and I have always had a strong passion and talent for caring for and working with children. Ever since I was a child myself I was a caretaker for my younger family members and the Sunday School children at church. I am calm, patient, bubbly and energetic in a way that kids always seem to love, and creating a space where children feel safe and excited is always my top priority. Since graduating college in May 2025 with a Bachelor's degree in English, I have gained about 1 year of paid experience working for The Goddard School (Woodlake) as a resource teacher (ages 1-5) and for Mending Fences as a Behavior Aide for a 10 year old special education student.
