I'm currently a college student majoring in social work. Most of my experience working with kids comes from job or volunteer experiences (and some limited babysitting). During high school I had several volunteer experiences with kids from toddlers to high school age. Most of my experience with toddlers comes from helping in my church's nursery. I've loved doing this. I've also had a lot of experience with slightly older kids. I volunteered at an elementary school with a school adjustment counselor, leading small groups and helping with conflict resolution. In highschool, I tutored highschoolers for the SAT. Currently, I work at a middle school and high school as a teacher's aid. Throughout my different experiences, I've enjoy reading with kids, planning activities, being active and having fun, but also being able to nurture and support them.
