I also took care of my frail aging aunt my grandma's daughter they were both retired nurses and challenging patience. I am multilingual,l but I can speak a few words in German and English. Additionally, I am fluent in Spanish, Japanese, Italian, Russian,h and sign language. I used to babysit Read more for two different families at church with four kids each for the same flat rate and I had a few years of experience with a set of twins. Within the school district, I have worked with multiple twins/triplets, in typical Education and Special Education classes. I work with special needs kids from the ages of 3 to 21, and I prefer to work with elementary school kids at work. I will work with special needs high school kids. I'm a homeowner, I have no mortgage, a non-smoker, I don't drink, I'm single, I don't currently date (ACE and Bi-romantic and big supporter of LGBTQIA+ community). I am not officially licensed as a speech therapy assistant, but I will use some of my knowledge occasionally unofficially to work with a child and I will stay out of it if that is not needed. I am familiar with AAC devices, PECS (low technology and high technology devices) I am also familiar with wheelchairs, foot braces and feeding/GI tubes, but no training in feeding tubes. I am familiar with autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome and CP. I use positive reinforcement and reward systems like sticker games. No food rewards ( candy or dessert), TV privileges or technology privileges, if necessary. I will follow any dietary habits, family members in my family have been known to have many allergies like nuts gluten strawberries bananas eggplant diet soda ingredients (aspartame) and over-the-counter and or prescription medicine allergies. I am not allergic to anything, but I am a type 2 diabetic I have it under control. I don't mind potty training, just not vomit I become nauseous myself.
