Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Alyson. Originally from Chile, I have had the privilege of living in San Francisco and Paris before making New York City my home, where I have been based for the past two years. I am a dedicated childcare professional with over four years of hands-on experience caring for children from newborns through age 10. My background includes nannying, babysitting, and newborn care, allowing me to confidently support families through a wide range of developmental stages and needs. As a fluent speaker of Spanish, English, and Portuguese, I enjoy naturally incorporating language exposure into play, conversation, and daily routines when it aligns with a family's goals. My caregiving approach is warm, attentive, and highly engaged. I strive to create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore the world around them. My work is informed by Read more Montessori and Reggio Emilia principles, and I enjoy fostering independence, creativity, curiosity, and hands-on learning through purposeful play and child-led activities. At the same time, I value consistency, structure, and clear boundaries, helping establish trust and confidence with both children and parents from the very beginning. In addition to my childcare experience, I studied drama at Cours Florent in Paris, am a certified health coach, and have worked in the medical field as a medical interpreter. These experiences have strengthened my communication skills, creativity, cultural awareness, and ability to remain calm, organized, and compassionate in a variety of situations. I am currently looking to do 2 set days a week, preferably Mondays and Tuesdays for longer shifts ideally 12 hours per day but also open to 10 hours, also highly open to ROTA positions. Working with children is one of my greatest passions. There is nothing more rewarding than supporting their growth, celebrating milestones, and helping create a positive environment where they can thrive.
