I’m a 19-year-old former daycare worker, and I genuinely love being a sitter because I enjoy building real connections with kids and being someone they feel safe, comfortable, and happy around. Working in a daycare showed me how important it is for children to feel supported and understood, and I like being able to give them that one-on-one attention as a sitter. I also enjoy helping with their routines, whether that’s playtime, meals, homework, or bedtime, and making everyday moments fun and positive. Through my daycare experience, I’ve worked with children of different ages, from infants to school-age kids. I’m used to managing multiple children at once, staying patient in stressful situations, and keeping a structured but fun environment. I’ve helped with feeding, diaper changes, lesson activities, outdoor play, and nap schedules, so I’m very comfortable handling daily childcare responsibilities. I have strong skills in communication, patience, and problem-solving.
