I am a part time senior in college studying elementary education. I have experience working in home and classroom settings. I am currently learning the most up to date theory regarding child development and education and I love being able to apply what I learn in the classroom when caring for children. I am passionate and energetic so I am able to keep up with whatever kids can throw at me and just enjoy being able to have fun with the children I care for while helping them develop and learn to explore the world around them. I minor in STEM education and I regularly bring educational lessons and experiments disguised as fun age and experience appropriate activities.While I am in school part time I am working full time in a local daycare as an infant and one year old room teacher. I work with between 4 and 8 infants or toddlers on a daily basis and I am comfortable providing complete care for up to 4 children at a time while on my own. I am familiar with and willing to help with preparing meals, sanitizing bottles, cleaning up a bit while the kiddos sleep, and doing little things to help make life just a bit easier for when you get back home with the kids.
