Hi all! My name is Mandisa (man-dee-suh) and I'm a recent graduate from Lehigh University. I am still looking for opportunities within bioengineering (what I got my degree in) so I have lots of free time to work. I took a semester off in 2022 in which I was an assistant teacher for a class with 2nd and 3rd graders. I also occasionally substituted for 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th grades at the school. I also have previous experience babysitting toddlers from January to September 2023, experience I got from Sitter city. In addition, I have some experience babysitting kids with different language barriers so if you’re traveling to Austin from outside of the US, for the first time I’m happy to look after your kids. Mandisa was absolutely amazing! From the moment she arrived, she made us feel completely at ease. She was so warm, kind, and caring with our children, and they felt comfortable with her right away. She was patient, attentive, and incredibly relaxed, creating such a calm and happy atmosphere. It was obvious that she genuinely enjoys spending time with children and has a natural talent for connecting with them. We felt completely confident leaving our kids in her care.
