My name is Mikayla, I'm 28 and have a bachelor's degree in human development. I found my greatest joy teaching and working with kids, but I have decided to go back to school which means I need a job that allows for more flexibility. I am naturally positive, patient, and adaptable especially when I'm around kids. I am very creative and love creating crafts for all ages. I can also help with homework after school. I am currently only CPR certified but I have been first aid certified in the past. Experience: I worked as a camp counselor since I was 12 and while attending college I was promoted to program director during summer break where I worked with campers 4-12 years old and counselors 12-18 years old. I have experience babysitting my cousins and friends children. After college I worked as a middle school teaching assistant and then moved Read more to daycare where I have spent time with ages 0-5. After floating between age groups, I spent almost a year as an infant room teacher, and 6 months as a 2-3 year old teacher. I do not have children of my own but I have lived with children, so I am experienced in tending to daily needs in both school and home settings.
