I’ve spent over a decade working with children and families, and nothing brings me more joy than creating safe, supportive, and enriching environments where kids can thrive. My background spans roles from lead preschool teacher to community family partner, as well as long-term nanny and child watch staff, allowing me to develop a deep understanding of the needs of children from infancy through adolescence. I began my child care journey at the Northeast YMCA, serving as a gymnastics instructor, summer camp counselor, and before/after-school program staff. These foundational roles taught me the importance of structure, engagement, and communication in early learning settings. I later became a preschool teacher at CEDARS Youth Services, where I led curriculum development for 3-year-olds, incorporating key domains such as creative arts, literacy, and social-emotional growth. In addition to classroom experience, I provided case management and supportive services to families as a Community Response Family Partner, Read more offering weekly home visits and individualized service plans. My continued work with Region V Services and the Department of Health and Human Services has further expanded my skills in assessment, family advocacy, and therapeutic activity planning. Whether working in homes, classrooms, or clinical settings, I am committed to the well-being and development of every child in my care. I bring a warm, dependable presence, a keen eye for individual needs, and a creative approach to building safe, fun, and meaningful experiences for young learners and their families. Currently, my husband and I are planning a move to the Phoenix, Scottsdale, or Glendale area in Arizona. As I take this next step, I’m looking forward to focusing my time and energy on working closely with one family—offering consistent, attentive care and building a strong, lasting bond. After years of managing large caseloads, I’m excited to return to a more personal, hands-on role where I can truly become part of a family's support system.
