Hi! My name is Gabriella (she/her), and I currently reside in Southeast Michigan. I recently completed my first year at Sarah Lawrence College with the intention of becoming an early education teacher! However, I am taking this upcoming academic year off to work and find a family to offer my help and time to. I am a compassionate, kindhearted, and patient individual which all compliment my passion for working with children perfectly. My other hobbies include playing the guitar, crocheting, painting, and reading. I'd love to share my love for these things with your child through crafts, age appropriate books, and music if desired. Throughout high school, I volunteered as a teacher's assistant for an afterschool and summer art class offered to kids from the ages of 5-11. This opportunity allowed me to not only problem solve with children, but to foster their creativity, independence, and imagination. I have babysat Read more my young cousins (ages 6 and 3) on numerous occasions as well. I am completely comfortable around all animals. I have taken the entire pandemic seriously with other's safety at the forefront in my mind when navigating these difficult times. I am fully vaccinated (Pfizer) and will do whatever precautions are necessary if the pandemic escalates. This fall I will be working at a local elementary school as a before and after school teacher from the hours of 7-9 am & 3-6:00 pm M-F.
