I am an early education teacher at a school in Washington DC , full immersion in Spanish. I have a Child Development Associate. (CDA) credential issue by the Washington Council. I have had 3 years of experience with children from 6 months to 6 years old. I’m a professional graduated in my country Venezuela, I have been in this country for 3 years and I’m studying the English language. Meanwhile I teach Spanish and I would love to continue tray it as well as develop artistic skills, help with their craft, hygiene habits, health and healthy eating.

Belkis was punctual and right on task. She was available around a holiday, and on short notice. We needed her to entertain our young toddle for eight hours among a chaotic day, and she was up to the task. When we asked her near the end to please stay an additional hour, she was flexible and able to do so. Definitely would go with her again.

Belkis arrived on time and brought with her a warm and kind presence. Our daughter, who is often shy with new people, absolutely adored Belkis. They did lots of arts play and went on hour-long daily walks. Belkis handled our daughter's toddler tantrums with patience. She followed her routine as explained, and made sure that the play and eating areas were cleaned up after use. It was a bonus that she spoke our daughter in Spanish. I would definitely recommend Belkis to parents who are looking for an attentive and caring person to take care of their young ones!
