My name is Kori Yancey. I am a mother of six kids. The oldest is 25 and the youngest is eight, so I have a ton of experience with children of all ages. I started working with children as a mother’s helper when I was 10, and I started babysitting when I was 12. I have lots of experience with newborns, infants, and multiples. I would also be comfortable if multiple families wanted to have me care for their child/ children at the same time to share the cost. When I was 15, I started teaching and coaching gymnastics. I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology and family science, and I’m very good with children who struggle with behavior issues. I cannot give Kori a high enough recommendation. She treats our infant son like family and really focuses on promoting his development. She has helped us transition through rough sleeping patterns. Kori is extremely reliable and has never been late (which is important since I need to catch the train) or canceled a shift. We do not have any family in the area, but it feels like we have found family with Kori and her family.
