I have been an after-preschool nanny twice (to a 2-3 year old and to an autistic/ADHD 4-6 year old) I am an highly experienced short-term/as-needed babysitter for toddlers and school aged children - I started with watching kids in my neighborhood or church at age 13 regularly for years (I'm 34 now). I love helping children learn daily living and self regulation skills. I love to read with children, teach children about cooking, play with dolls and other toys (blocks) to model social-emotional skills and creativity, play outside in the spring, fall and winter, and play pretend/dress up or sports. Note: my experience with infants (children under 2 years old) is very limited but I'm open to learning more. I have a bachelor's from UW in psychology, and have been a behavior technician at a children's behavioral health clinic (direct service pediatric eating disorders, PTSD, anxiety, ADHD and autism). I Read more have a driver's license but I am a newer driver (first permit in 2023, I am a cautious and patient driver and did take many professional lessons from a defensive driving school and have insurance, a booster seat, and am ticket and accident free). I also have a side business for home organizing and/or decluttering and have reference(s) for this service. I am willing to do various chores and be assigned other household management duties.
