Hi! My name is Amber and I love working with children of all ages! I was a substitute teacher for about 3 years in public schools and charter schools for grades Pre-K through 12th. I subbed for a variety of classes, but most often worked with the SpEd department. I also have about 2 years of tutoring experience (math) with college students at Texas A&M University. I have some experience tutoring children grades 3rd-12th as well. Currently, I work as an RBT helping children with autism grow to reach their full potential! This includes communication skills, social skills, behavioral therapy, and life skills (potty training, washing hands, dressing, etc). I received a Basic Life Support (CPR and AED program) certification from the AHA in 2024 after taking a course at Encompass Health.
