Hi my name is Crishania but I prefer to go by Crissy! I love children and I have a genuine passion for working with children. I have about seven years of childcare experience and I am also CPR and first aid certified. In addition to my certification, I also have a bachelor's degree in psychology pre-med from Georgia State University. I started out volunteering at daycares and schools before I began to obtain work experience in childcare. I mentored and tutored middle school students for a while and then I began volunteering at daycares. My first job was at a recreation center where I created and facilitated fun, and educational activities for preschool children to engage in. I then moved to working at a camp where I counseled youth. Next, I began working at a daycare called Bright Horizons where I cared for, created lesson plans for, and taught infants. Read more I also babysat for a family and I absolutely loved it! My most recent job experience was nannying a 3 year old. I find great pleasure in providing outstanding care, nurture, fun, and education to children of all ages. I am known for having a fun, bubbly personality which is great for working with children and at the same time I am mature when appropriate. My previous employers have referred to me as patient, caring, sweet, trustworthy, and reliable. I do have a reliable vehicle as well as a clean driving record and would love to provide transportation services if need be. Also, I am vaccinated have been following all safety protocols set due to Covid-19 and I have been social distancing since the beginning of this terrible time. I take my health as well as the health of others very seriously and I believe that it is imperative to be especially careful during these times.
