Hi, My name is Madison Vernon! I am a upcoming sophomore at Penn State and I live in Annapolis, MD. For 4 and a half years now, I have been a manager at the coffee shop downtown called Bitty and Beaus Coffee shop. This is a special coffee shop that is a human rights movement disguised as a coffee shop, where people with intellectual & developmental disabilities are hired and valued in the workplace. Bitty & Beau’s Coffee proudly employs 400+ individuals with disabilities nationwide. I am deciding to still be apart of the Bitty and Beaus family, but this summer I want to have a new experience! I have babysat may times for my parents friends and neighbors, but it was never a payed "full-time" job, thats why I put 0 years of payed experience in nannying. I have a very close family of two amazing parents and two Read more brothers, one at Penn state with me, and the other at Gonzaga High School! I also had a job my freshman year of college by my participated with WorkLink at Penn State, where I managed my classes as well as students with special needs classes by going to classes with them and doing all assignments with them, so Im very good at organization and always ready to help! I am very excited to be apart of helping your family!That was a little about me!
