Hi! My name is Maya, and I’m a responsible and caring babysitter with a strong passion for working with children. I’m currently a student at the University of Connecticut majoring in Psychology, which has given me a better understanding of child development and how to create a safe, supportive environment for kids of all ages. I have hands-on experience working with children through volunteering at my local church, where I help teach and supervise kids during Bible study. In addition, I work at my university as a Supplemental Instruction leader for introductory biology, a role similar to a teacher’s assistant (TA). Through this, I’ve developed strong skills in explaining concepts, staying organized, and supporting students academically, and I feel confident helping children with homework and schoolwork.
