Hi! My name is Augusta! I’m a patient, warm, and honest 20-year-old college student. I’m very gentle and energetic with kids though not afraid to be stern when needed—in order to keep your children safe. I have about 5 years of paid childcare experience but I've done far more unpaid childcare/babysitting. I love working with kids and am currently going to school to graduate with a BA in Psychology with a Disabilities Studies minor to eventually become a Certified Child Life Specialist! I've had a blast working as a summer nanny for a little 6-8-month-old girl a few days a week (Summer 2024). This summer I had the pleasure of caring for her (18-mo) and her 3-month-old little sister—a super fun challenge. I have worked with a 5-year old & 1-year old sister and brother as well, for babysitting some days a week and date nights. I was also a Read more babysitter for an energetic 4-year-old for afterschool pickup and dinner. I have traveled to a family's home the past few summers to help babysit a group of 4 children ages 1 to 5, for just over a week. I go to college in Oregon and looking for something to fill in my blanks outside of school between volunteering at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and for Make-A-Wish. I'm looking to establish myself with a family for a childcare opportunity for the year (and possibly through the next). My goal is to provide a helping hand for you and bring a little extra enrichment to your little one(s)!
