As a college student studying education and child development, I love being a sitter because I really enjoy spending time with kids and being someone they feel safe and comfortable around. It’s rewarding to help out families while making sure their children are happy, engaged, and staying on a good routine. I like building connections with kids and creating a positive environment where they can have fun but also feel cared for. I have experience caring for children through babysitting for family members and people I know, and I also worked as a teacher at a summer camp for two summers, including this past summer. In those roles, I worked with kids of different ages and helped with things like planning activities, preparing meals, assisting with homework, keeping them entertained, and making sure they stayed on schedule. Through this, I’ve learned how to be patient, responsible, and attentive to each Read more child’s needs. I also have strong communication skills and know how to stay calm and handle situations responsibly. I’m dependable, organized, and good at multitasking, like balancing playtime with making sure everything is taken care of. I understand how important safety is and always follow instructions given by parents to make sure their children are well cared for.
