I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and helping them feel safe, happy, and cared for. Watching kids learn, play, and grow is something that brings me a lot of joy. I also have many younger nieces, nephews, and cousins, so caring for children has always been a natural part of my life. Being able to support families and create a fun, positive environment for their kids is something I truly value. I am currently a nursing student at the University of Southern Mississippi and am enrolled in courses such as pediatrics and obstetrics. Through my pediatric clinicals at Forrest General Hospital, I have gained hands-on experience caring for sick children and supporting families in healthcare settings. This experience has helped me develop patience, attentiveness, and a strong understanding of children’s health needs. I am BLS (Basic Life Support) certified and have training in several healthcare-related skills through my nursing education. I am knowledgeable in medication administration and comfortable with tasks related to basic medical care and monitoring. My nursing background also means I am attentive, responsible, and trained to respond calmly in emergency situations. Families can feel confident knowing their children are in caring and capable hands.
