Hello, My name is Kimberly Garcia. I was born in the Bronx and raised in Yonkers, New York, where I attended Lincoln High School. After graduating, I attended Berkeley College, where I studied Criminal Justice. While attending college, I began my career as an assistant teacher in a home daycare setting. Balancing work and school helped me discover a true passion for working with children. This passion grew when I was given the opportunity to work with children ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years old. That experience was a defining moment for me, as I realized Early Childhood Education is the field I am deeply committed to pursuing, and I plan to further my education in this area. I have over 12 years of hands-on experience in childcare, including both nanny roles in private homes and lead teacher positions in daycare centers. It is incredibly rewarding to witness a child’s growth and development and to know I played a role in that journey.
