Hi! I'm currently a Nanny for a 21-month-old little girl who I adore. She was just accepted into a Chinese immersion program so my last full time day is March 22. I will be available starting the week of March 28, pt T-F/8-12 or M-F full time 40 hrs. Prior to my current job I worked at a Montessori school for a year as a Guide for Children’s House (3 -5 year olds). I’m happy to provide parent and Head of School references from my previous employers. I have all the necessary vaccines, as well as my First Aid and CPR certification. When Covid hit I was working in retail and had no idea what my next move would be but decided it was a great time to start looking! I found some tests that help discover what kinds of abilities you might have that you aren’t using (if that Read more makes sense). And as it turns out, everything I’m proficient in involves children. I was in preschool and daycare jobs when I was in my early twenties and should’ve stayed! Reading, libraries and museums, arts & crafts, swimming, and outdoor activities are my favorite things to do when spending time with children! I love the way they think and imagine and the hilarious things they say. A little bit about me, I'm originally from Lawrence, KS. I attended The University of Kansas and Johnson County Community College majoring in early childhood education and family development. I've been in Austin since 2011. I love music, hanging out with my 2 cats, and my small circle of friends. I'm a very liberal, coffee-loving, laid-back individual I am prompt, and dependable.
