Hi! I'm Kayla Scimeca, a student at Appalachian State University studying K-12 Instrumental Music Education. So far my experience with children predominantly includes tutoring and teacher assistant positions for 4-12. I have learned a lot about managing behavior and how to be engaging and creative for children. I have outmost respect and value for children, and I know that by giving respect and patience I am more likely to receive the same in return while building a stronger, more positive relationship.
