Hi, my name is Dana. I am new to Sittercity but I have been working in childcare for about 10 years. I have experience with babysitting, nannying, homeschooling, tutoring, teaching, group childcare, coaching, daycare, and summer camp. I just graduated college with a degree in Spanish education and I am looking to eventually teach high school Spanish. For now, I am open to anything from babysitting to long term nannying and anything in between. I have worked with kids ages 4-18 in various settings/ job types. I live a pretty active lifestyle and I enjoy going outside, but I also love a good movie night in! Some of my hobbies include cooking, dancing, traveling, crocheting, and learning new things. I also coached softball and baseball for 5 years and I was a hitting instructor. Usually my style of childcare depends on the the parents and what they’re looking for. I Read more have worked with kids who like constant one-on-one attention and others who are the exact opposite and just want to be left alone and both are great! I also have experience with children who have Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, severe allergies, and more. I am CPR and first aid certified through Red Cross as well as heads up certified. I am pet friendly. I have a dog of my own who lives with me. I am allergic to cats, but as long as you let me know that you have a cat beforehand, I will be okay!
