While I work now as a pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant (elementary level), I got my start babysitting and doing vital tasks like making Mac and cheese and fighting off the zombie apocalypse. I’m big on outdoor play, creative play with multi sensory materials, reading (or writing!!) books, dance parties, and - every now and again - making a fort, a bowl of popcorn, and turning the place into a movie theater. In my professional day job, I actually get to play a lot, but I also work on homework, handwriting, math, and functional skills ... so while your child may not find that of interest, YOU might :)
